About Blue Spot Foundation

More than fundraising.

Built from more than 20 years of Blue Spot - and a belief that success means more when you can use it to help others.

Who we are

A little more than business.

Blue Spot Foundation is the community-focused side of Blue Spot, giving the team a dedicated place to support causes and projects beyond the day-to-day business.

It brings together the fundraising, projects and initiatives Blue Spot gets behind - from local appeals to supporting children, schools and communities.

Why it exists

Giving back has always mattered.

The Foundation gives Blue Spot a permanent home for the work that goes beyond business - not as a one-off campaign, but as something that can continue to grow year after year.

It means being able to spot where help is needed, bring the right people together and put Blue Spot's time, resources and network behind something worthwhile.

Our journey

Built through action.

01

2025

Where it began

Founded by Congleton businessman Guy Brittain, the Foundation grew from a passion for giving back to his local community.

In 2025, Guy launched the Congleton Toy Appeal alongside New Life Church, bringing local businesses, community groups and residents together to provide Christmas gifts for children and families in need.

The generosity shown throughout the appeal inspired a bigger vision: a Foundation dedicated to making a difference beyond Christmas.

02

Building connections

Growing the Foundation

Following the Toy Appeal's success, Blue Spot Foundation was established to support local people, families, schools and community initiatives throughout the year.

By building relationships with businesses, organisations and volunteers, the Foundation brings together the skills, resources and generosity needed to turn ideas into meaningful action.

03

Making an impact

Projects that made a difference

The Congleton Toy Appeal showed what could be achieved when a community comes together for a shared cause.

Building on that success, the Foundation worked with local businesses to transform an existing space at Daven Primary School into a fully equipped IT room.

Through donations, charitable work and practical support, pupils now have improved access to technology and valuable learning resources.

Looking ahead

What's next

The Foundation's journey is only just beginning.

Our ambition is to identify new opportunities to support people, schools and worthwhile causes across Congleton, while creating more ways for businesses and individuals to get involved.

Through fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship and practical support, we hope to build a stronger, more connected community for generations to come.
